Visiting the Grandparents

Last Friday, Mom and I went to Hutch for the day. I got to play with Grandma's water barrel.

Grandma has a lot of bird baths for me to play with too!

I liked Grandma's frog too

The highlight of the day was Grandpa's bus!

He even took me for a ride

This is a picture of my swollen thumb. I got stung by a bee when I was playing outside on the deck. Mom heard me crying, but didn't understand what had happened until I showed her my hand, which still had the stinger in it. Mom gave me lots of hugs and kisses that day :>

She even let me lick the cake batter!

1 1/2 years old!

Can you believe it? I'm a year and a half now! Mom can't believe how fast I've grown. I'm working on talking now. I can say words like, "Chase, " "dog," "up," "down," "Mom," "Dad," "tractors," "bubbles," "cho cho" (for train), and "hot."

Recently, we got together for a visit with the Guyer family. This is Rylan and his Mom, Julie.

Here's Aunt Kim!

The rest of the pictures are from the State Fair. I wasn't too sure about the fair. First, we got stuck on the bus for a long time (my patience was put to the test), then they closed the barns so I didn't get to see all the animals! Mom felt bad for me...but once I found out they had tractors everything was alright!

TRACTORS!

TRACTORS!

TRACTORS!

TRACTORS!

Are you sick of tractor pictures yet?

I put a quarter in him, but he still wont get up!

Mom is always finding things where they don't belong...

First Family Vacation

My first Family Vacation! We stayed at Loon Point Resort for a week.

Here's our cabin, RedPine

We spent a lot of time playing outside

They had a swing set and large sandbox

We also did a lot of fishing...my patience was pretty short, so Mom and Dad didn't get to fish for too long.

I liked playing on the beach

Dad even let me drive the boat

One day it rained, so we drove to Grand Rapids and spend time at the Children's Museum

At night we roasted marshmellows

**Note the marshmellow on my face and in my hand

We had to stop and take a picuture of the Guyer's General Store. No relation though.

I haven't quite figured out how to drink from a plastic water bottle

There was no T.V. at the cabin, so Mom & Dad had to be creative and keep me entertained. The tried to teach me how to be quiet.

Trip to Grand Rapids

Hi Jan and to all my blogging fans out there!
Congrats to Rylan on his baptism!

Last week Mom and I met the Grandparents at the General Store. The toy section was my favorite...so many toys to play with. Good luck getting me out of here without a tantrum!

Last weekend we drove up to Grand Rapids to visit our friends. They live on a golf course.

Caution! Naked toddler on Par 5.

They also had a riding lawn mower...I gave Addison a ride.

Addison was always trying to give me hugs and kisses. I wanted no part of it.

That's all for now! Till next time...

4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!

Sometimes I just like to hang out on my picnic table and read books!

Eating Mom's peas from the garden...MMMmmm!!

A REAL tractor ride with Grandpa Guyer!

I just can't get enough of trucks and tractors. Here I am at Maple Grove Days checking out the big trucks!

Always wear a hard hat with big machinery.
Maybe someday I'll be a mailman!?

Wait for me!

We also went to the petting zoo. This goat really liked me!

Mom tries to teach me about handwashing. Heck, I just like to play with the water!

Finally, me just being ME!
